Shaitan OTT Release Date: Irrespective of achievements or setbacks, Mahi V Raghav has consistently reinvented himself as a storyteller, seizing every opportunity to explore new narratives. After making his directorial debut with the road film Paathasaala, he ventured into intriguing projects like Anando Brahma and Yatra. Anando Brahma delved into the realm of horror-comedy, while Yatra took on the form of a biographical film centred around YS Rajashekar Reddy.

He ventured into the world of OTT platforms as a co-creator and producer of the recent engaging series Save the Tigers on Disney+ Hotstar. Now, he is making headlines again with another web project called Shaitan, a crime thriller, for the same platform.

Today, Disney+ Hotstar officially announced that the show would premiere on June 15 and unveiled the first look and motion poster. The series also serves as the Telugu debut for Kannada actor Rishi.

The initial poster showcases a room filled with several men and women, surrounding a slain police officer, with one of the characters gripping a weapon. The poster's unrefined allure and high level of intensity will instantly capture your attention. The series also features notable actors such as Sai Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Deviyani Sharma, Jaffer Sadiq, Aneesha Dama, Nithin Prasanna, Lenaa Kumar, and others in pivotal roles.

Shanmuga Sundharam serves as the cinematographer for the show, while Sriram Maddury handles the music composition. Hyndavi is responsible for costume design, and Raj Kumar Murugesan takes charge as the art director.

Mahi V Raghav, sharing the poster, expressed his perspective on the crime genre, stating, "What you call crime, they call survival. This is my take on a very tried and tested crime genre. This genre is something which I am not too fond of or very comfortable with! As a storyteller, it has been quite an experience living in their world and bringing these characters alive." Watch the trailer of Telugu film Shaitan here.

Mahi V Raghav is also directing the sequel to Yatra, which revolves around the life of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Further information regarding the film will be revealed in the near future.
