Alia Bhatt's absence from a recent episode of Kapil Sharma's show, 'The Great Indian Kapil Show,' has raised eyebrows and sparked rumors of a rift. The episode featured members of the Kapoor family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, but Alia was notably missing. Speculations suggest that the actress bowed out of the appearance due to payment issues.
According to a report by TimesNow, the streaming platform hosting the show "could not afford Alia," leading to her absence from the star-studded episode. The report claims that while guests on the show are compensated for their appearances, the budget allocated for each episode is not enough to accommodate both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. As a result, the makers decided to proceed with Ranbir and his family, leaving Alia out of the initial lineup.
Fans, however, need not worry, as Alia is expected to grace a future episode of the show. Her absence seems to be a result of financial negotiations rather than any personal or professional discord.

It is worth noting that Alia recently made her Hollywood debut with the streaming platform's action-packed feature film 'Heart of Stone,' alongside stars like Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film attracted attention for its staggering production budget of $150 million, making it one of Netflix's costliest original productions. Reports suggest that Alia earned an estimated $500,000 for her supporting role in the film.
