Kartik Aaryan has chosen another way to avoid a clash between his film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. Both the movies were scheduled to release in theatres on Diwali this year which is on November 1. But the Chandu Champion actor chose to call the renowned filmmaker to ask him to postpone the multi-starrer movie Singham Again. A report by Times Now, suggests that Aaryan has urged Shetty to release his movie on November 15.
A source told the publication, “Kartik Aaryan reportedly called Rohit Shetty and made him a request to postpone the release of Singham 3. While Kartik intends to release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on 1st November, he has made in a request to Rohit Shetty to release Singham 3 on 15th November. Kartik Aaryan said a two-week gap can help both the celebrities have a good opening for their movies, instead of clashing at the box-office which will affect both the movies’ collections. Rohit Shetty has heard him out over the call and told him, that he will get back to him.”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 also stars Tripti Dimri, Vidya Balan, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in key roles. The movie has been directed by Anees Bazmee.
On the other hand, Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again features Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty and Ashutosh Rana in prominent roles.
Earlier in an interview with Mid Day, Anees Bazme shared that clashes are never good for business. When asked if he talked about the same to Ajay Devgn, he said “Why should I talk to him? It’s a business decision between producers, and I am just the director. Singham Again’s team is insisting on a Diwali release. Clashes are never a good idea. I know that we had announced Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s release date a year in advance, but what can we do?”
