Rashmika Mandanna’s performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has been one of the most talked about topics since its release. Netizens keep sharing clips of the movie when Ranbir Kapoor's character Rannvijay cheated on his wife Gitanjali (Rashmika Mandanna). People always highlight the toxic masculinity of a man shown in the movie and how a woman had to suffer the infidelity of her husband. Recently, a user tweeted a video regarding the same and captioned “Remember nothing is scarier than trusting a man..” Rashmika replied to the tweet and wrote “Correction : trusting a stupid man = scary.. there are a lot of good men also out there.. trusting those men = special.”

After Rashmika Mandanna’s tweet, several users shared their thoughts regarding the same. A fan said, “National crush for a reason.” A user wrote, “Thanks for supporting men. It is good to see , this type of statement from a national crush. At least some female has good opinion about men.” A comment read, “Thank you for stating that Rashmika madam.”

Earlier, Rashmika Mandanna defined her character in a long note. She tweeted, “Gitanjali! If I were to describe her in a sentence …it would be the only force at home holding her family together. She is pure, real, unfiltered, strong and raw.. At times as an actor, I would question some of Gitanjali’s actions.. And I remember my director telling me - this was their story.. Ranvijay’s & Gitanjali’s.. it was their love and passion, their families and their lives - this is who they are.. In a world full of all violence, hurt and unbearable pain - Gitanjali would bring peace trust and calm.. She would pray to her Gods to keep her husband and her kids safe.. She was the rock that weathered all the storms.. She would do anything in her power for the sake of her family. Gitanjali is absolutely beautiful in my eyes, and in some ways she is like most women who are standing strong and protecting their families day in and day out.. Animal was released in theatres on 1st December 2023. The movie also stars Tripti Dimri, Bobby Deol, Saloni Batra, Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Babloo Prithiveeraj in key roles. 

On the other hand, Rashmika will be next seen in Pushpa: The Rule alongside Allu Arjun in the lead.
