Legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar, also known as the 'Tragedy King' of Bollywood passed away in 2021 after battling a prolonged illness. The unforgettable legacy left behind, through his iconic performances in his romantic classics including 'Devdas', 'Mughal-E-Azam', 'Naya Daur', and others will forever live in our hearts. After two years of his passing, reports have surfaced that Dilip Kumar's iconic Pali Hills bungalow will be demolished soon and will undergo a massive transformation.

According to a report in News18, Dilip Kumar's family has given their approval to build a swanky residential project and has partnered with the Ashar Group. The luxurious project will be completed by 2027 and will also include a museum to commemorate the life and achievements of the actor. The museum will be made on the ground floor with a separate access.

The project is estimated to generate a revenue of Rs 900 crore and will be made on a half-acre land parcel located in one of the most posh localities of Mumbai. It will cost a whopping Rs 1.75 lakh square feet of total construction that will have eleven separate floors.

However, the plot was in legal dispute for years. Earlier, Dilip Kumar's family had put up an allegation against a real estate firm for forging some documents with the malicious intention of taking over the property. After a long-drawn legal battle, in 2017 Saira Banu announced that she finally won the case.
