Diljit Dosanjh, who keeps his life private from the public glare, recently introduced his family members at a UK concert for the very first time. On September 28, the renowned singer held his concert in Manchester where he showed his mother and sister to the world. The video capturing the heartwarming moment went viral on social media. In the viral clip, Diljit can be seen bowing in front of an elderly woman and then hugging her tight while he was performing. He then told the audience, “By the way, this is my mom.” Her mother got emotional after the touching gesture by her son. Later, he bowed again in front of another lady whom he called his sister. He said, “She is my sister. My family has come here today.”

He also greeted his fans in the audience section. A fan page wrote on Instagram, “@diljitdosanjh living every boy’s dream.. by making his mom proud.”

Earlier in April, this year there were reports that Diljit is married to an Indian-American woman with whom he has a son as well. The reports also suggested that his wife and son live in the US. However, the star never came out in public and gave a statement about the same.

On the other hand, his colleague Ammy Virk told News18 “If we look at Diljit Pajji’s point of view, it is his private matter. It is his family. There must be a reason that he isn’t introducing them to the world. I also have a wife and a daughter. Even I do not want them to come out in public. They also do not want it. For now, they can roam around anywhere and nobody knows they are my Ammy’s family or Diljit’s family. If people know, they (families) will be troubled.”

On the work front, Diljit’s India tour concert will start from Delhi on October 26. It will then take place in several other cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
