JE Entertainment Desk: Popular singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh recently hit the headlines after he set the Coachella stage ablaze with his electrifying performance. However, Dosanjh is again in news, but for another reason after rumours went rife that he was spotted dining with popstar Taylor Swift.

According to the reports, Taylor and Dosanjh got cozy with each other. It was also said that the duo were seen by fans in Vancouver at a premium casual dining restaurant, where they were laughing and being 'touchy'. This garnered a lot of attention and the actor recently reacted to the same.

In a now-deleted post on Twitter, Diljit Dosanjh wrote, "Yaar Privacy Naam Di v Koi Cheez Hundi Aa (there is something called privacy)."

Diljit Dosanjh on the work front

On the professional front, Dosanjh is currently gearing up for the release of his forthcoming highly-anticipated flick 'Chamkila'. The film is based on the life of Punjabi singer and musician Amar Singh Chamkila. Sharing the first look, Netflix India wrote, "Jo naam saalon se aapke dil aur dimaag pe chaaya hai woh ab aapke saamne aaya hai. Watch the untold story of Punjab’s highest record selling artist, Amar Singh #Chamkila, coming soon only on Netflix!"

Diljit Dosanjh, who will play the titular role, said, "Playing Amar Singh Chamkila has been one of the most challenging experiences of my life, and I am thrilled to be returning to Netflix with yet another exciting story. It has been a pleasure to work with Parineeti and the entire team that has worked extremely hard to bring this beautiful story to life."

"To be able to sing to Rahman sir's exemplary music was a meditative experience and I hope I have been able to do justice to his vision. Thank you Imtiaz for believing in me for this role," he further noted.
