Diljit Dosanjh has made a name for himself not just in India but across the globe, thanks to his powerhouse singing talent and magnetic persona. Now, he's set to add another remarkable achievement to his illustrious career. According to recent reports, the Punjabi singer and actor will make his debut at the Met Gala this year.

Diljit Dosanjh to make Met Gala debut

As per a source quoted by India Today, Diljit will attend the prestigious fashion event as the ambassador for Google Pixel. While fans await an official confirmation from his team, excitement is already building. Interestingly, mom-to-be and actress Kiara Advani is also expected to make her Met Gala debut this year. The 2025 Met Gala is scheduled for May 5 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, with the theme 'Tailored For You.'

Diljit Dosanjh's Global Presence and Impressive Feats

Diljit is no stranger to international recognition. In 2023, he became the first Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella, delivering a power-packed performance that made headlines. He also made history as the first Indian artist to feature on the cover of Billboard Canada.
Continuing his record-breaking streak, Diljit performed at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium in 2024 as part of his Dil-Luminati tour, becoming the first Punjabi artist to headline a sold-out show at the venue.

Diljit has collaborated with several global stars throughout his musical journey. He teamed up with Australian pop icon Sia for the track Hass Hass, even getting her to sing in Punjabi. He also joined forces with American rapper NLE Choppa on the hip-hop anthem Muhammad Ali. In 2024, Diljit shared the stage with Ed Sheeran during the latter’s Mumbai concert, where they wowed audiences with a performance of Sheeran’s hit Lover.

On the Acting Front

Diljit is also making waves in cinema. He is currently working on Border 2, alongside Sunny Deol, Ahan Shetty, and Varun Dhawan. He will also appear in Punjab 95, a biographical drama based on the life of Sikh activist Jaswant Singh Khalra.
