Disha Patani Is Grateful And 'Honoured' To Be A Part Of Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD: 'Such A Legendary Cast...'

Nag Ashwin’s dystopian sci-fi epic, Kalki 2898 AD, continues to dominate the box office, having crossed the Rs 700 crore mark worldwide. Released on June 27, the film features a stellar cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone. Among the cast is Disha Patani, who portrays the character Roxie.

Disha recently took to Instagram to share a heartfelt gratitude note for the team behind Kalki 2898 AD. She thanked director Nag Ashwin for his visionary work in her message and praised her co-star Prabhas's kindness on set.

“Thank you @nag_ashwin for creating this crazy sci-fi world in the most beautiful way, integrating Indian history and science. You’re truly a creative genius. Sharing conversations with you about anime was my highlight of being on your set. Thank you @actorprabhas for being the sweetest co-star ever and taking care of everyone,” Disha wrote.

She also gave a special shout-out to the women producers, Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt Chalasani, for bringing the film to life. “Shout out to the women in charge @priyankacdutt @swapnaduttchalasani for bringing it to life. You guys are inspirational. @djordjevla, you’re a magician,” she added.

Concluding her note, Disha expressed her honour to be part of such a legendary cast and acknowledged the hard work of her own team. “Honored to be a part of such a legendary cast.
