Dragon Box Office Collection Day 1: Pradeep Ranganathan and Kayadu Lohar starrer Tamil coming of age comedy drama opened at the box office with flying colours. The movie recived positive responses from the audience. As the movie created havoc at the box office, it seems the film will have a long successful theatrical run. Well, the movie had a box office clash with Dhanush’s Tamil rom-com movie Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam which had a collection of Rs 1.15 crore.

As per Sacnilk, Dragon earned Rs 6 crore on opening day. The film had an overall 49.31 per cent Tamil occupancy on Friday. The movie had 31.66 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 45.99 per cent in the afternoon shows, 46.41 per cent in the evening shows and 73.18 per cent in the night shows.

As per reports, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 35 crore including promotional costs.
About Dragon
The story is about a troubled student named Ragavan, who just came out of his breakup. He enters the dangerous world of the financial world to pursue wealth and power. The movie stars Pradeep Ranganathan, Kayadu Lohar, Anupama Parameswaran, Mysskin, George Maryan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sneha Prasanna and KS Ravikumar in key roles. It has been directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by Kalpathi S Suresh, Kalpathi S Ganesh.
