Mere Husband Ki Biwi Box Office Collection Day 1: Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar starrer romantic comedy movie released in theatres on February 21. The film has received mixed responses from the audience and the critics. It had a big clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which is performing extremely well at the ticket windows. The film opened on a moderate note at the box office. It would be interesting to see if it could maintain the same pace or show improvement in the weekends.

As per Sacnilk, Mere Husband Ki Biwi earned Rs 1.50 crore on Day 1. The film had an overall 14.86 per cent Hindi occupancy on Friday. The movie had 8.64 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 13.75 per cent in the afternoon shows, 14.12 per cent in the evening shows and 22.93 per cent in the night shows.

According to reports, the movie was made on a budget of around Rs 60 crores.
About Mere Husband Ki Biwi
The story is about a man, who gets entangled in a complicated love triangle. He faces a huge challenge when his ex-wife, who lost her memory, returns to his life when he develops feelings for someone else. The movie features Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Hiten Patel, Kanwaljeet Singh, Shakti Kapoor, Dino Morea, Aditya Seal, Anita Raj and Sammy Jonas Heaney in key roles. It has been directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani and Deepshika Bhagnani.
In an interview with DNA, Arjun Kapoor talked about Mere Husband Ki Biwi “I always wanted to do a mainstream comedy entertainer. Mere Husband Ki Biwi is a quirky rom-com that reminded me of films I've seen while growing up. It also has a beautiful message, that I hope the audience will carry after it ends.”
