Dry Day Twitter Review: Amazon Prime Video's latest release offers a refreshing dive into the harsh realities magnified by alcoholism. Starring Jitendra Kumar and Shriya Pilgaonkar, the film is a social satire presented with a hilarious tragic-comedy of errors with lots of drama and emotions. Saurabh Shukla, a seasoned maestro, not only weaves an engaging storyline but also subtly embeds a social message, urging audiences to confront the societal and economic upheaval caused by alcohol.

At the heart of this compelling narrative is Jitendra, fondly known as Jeetu Bhaiya, infusing vitality into the character of Gannu, a local alcoholic inadvertently caught in the political maneuvers orchestrated by Dauji, played by Annu Kapoor. Fans loved the film and reviews for the same are out on social media. A user called it a 'proper entertainment'. Another said, "#DryDay on #AmazonPrime offers a compelling blend of satire and social commentary. #Jitendra captivating performance as Gannu, amidst societal upheaval, alongside stellar acts by #Shriya and #Annu, make it a must-watch. A thought-provoking narrative with minor pacing hiccups."

A third comment added, "Watching #DryDayOnPrime 10 minutes into the film and it refreshed my mind."

Talking about the film, producer Nikkhil Advani said, "Dry Day marks the beginning of an exciting new journey in the space of Hindi Original movies for us with Prime Video. The film is a social satire presented with a hilarious tragic-comedy of errors with lots of drama and emotions. Dry Day gives an important and relevant message about alcoholism and I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to craft this film."

Shriya also expressed her excitement and added, "I feel grateful to be a part of the film. I worked with an amazing team in the film...learnt so much from them. The film is quite entertaining but at the same time it will allow you to ask yourself certain questions," she said.
