Dunki Box Office Collection Day 9: Rajkumar Hirani directorial started strong at the box office but faced a gradual decline afterward. After eight days, the film accumulated Rs 160 crore domestically. According to Sacnilk, on Friday, it contributed over Rs 7 crore to its overall earnings. In a span of nine days, Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu's 'Dunki' collected Rs 167 crore nett.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Dunki' raked in over Rs 317 crore at the box office. The film, released on December 21, clashed with Prabhas' 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire.' In the initial seven days of its release, Shah Rukh Khan starrer displayed a fluctuating trend in its box office earnings across India. The movie kicked off with a strong opening on its first Thursday, gathering Rs 29.2 crore. However, this figure marked the lowest start among SRK's releases this year, alongside 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'. As reported by Sacnilk, after collecting Rs 7.25 crore on Thursday, the film's total now stands at Rs 167.25 crore. There was a slight decline from its Thursday earnings, which amounted to Rs 9 crore.

About Dunki
The film explores the concept of donkey flight, an illicit immigration method. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu, with Vicky Kaushal in a special appearance, the cast also includes Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. 'Dunki' credits its screenplay to Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon. Presented by JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, the movie is produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan.
Ahead of its release, the film held a special screening in Mumbai for consulates from numerous nations, attended by representatives from the USA, UK, Wales, Belgium, Germany, Australia, France, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, Israel, South Korea, Finland, Mauritius and Oman, along with director Rajkumar Hirani.
At its core, the movie revolves around a circle of friends navigating a covert pathway to relocate to a different country. Yet, their intentions take an unexpected twist when they face obstacles while trying to return home, unfolding a compelling narrative of unforeseen challenges and personal struggles.
