Ratan Tata, the visionary industrialist who transformed the Tata Group into a global powerhouse, left an indelible mark on India's business landscape before passing away at 86. His legacy extends beyond the corporate world, as he also explored the realm of Bollywood film production. In 2004, Tata co-produced the romantic psychological thriller Aetbaar, directed by Vikram Bhatt and starring Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham, and Bipasha Basu.

Aetbaar was inspired by the Hollywood film Fear and revolved around a protective father investigating his daughter's obsessive boyfriend. Despite its promising cast and plot, the movie failed to impress at the box office, earning only Rs 7.96 crore against its Rs 9.50 crore budget. This setback led Tata to step back from film production, focusing instead on his business ventures.
