Producer Ektaa Kapoor after much anticipation has officially announced the seventh season of the popular supernatural drama Naagin. Taking to her social media, the television mogul shared a video revealing that the new season is in the works. Fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting this news since Naagin 6 wrapped up in July 2023. Now, after nearly 18 months, Kapoor is ready to take the beloved series to the next level.
In the announcement video, Ektaa Kapoor is seen discussing the new season with her team. As she playfully introduces a team member, she teases, "Whoever wants to know where Naagin is, that's the girl." The team member responds in a fun manner, saying, "Naagin is on chotiyo ke peeche, parvat ke niche," adding to the mystery and excitement.

Kapoor then shares her vision for Naagin 7, emphasizing that she aims to create something even grander this time. “Time to create sarva sarva, super shresth, param shresth Naagin," she says, hinting at a fresh concept that surpasses all previous seasons.
Following the announcement, social media was flooded with excitement. Many celebrities and fans expressed their enthusiasm in the comment section. Actor Pratik Sehajpal dropped a fire emoji, while Divyaa Agarwal wrote, “Can’t wait!” Fans also shared their anticipation, eager to see what the new season will bring.
The Naagin series first premiered on November 1, 2015, with Mouni Roy, Arjun Bijlani and Adaa Khan in lead roles. The supernatural thriller quickly gained a loyal following, leading to multiple successful seasons. The previous instalment, Naagin 6, starring Tejasswi Prakash, debuted on February 12, 2022 and concluded on July 9, 2023. Originally planned as a six-month show, it was extended due to its immense popularity. While Kapoor has yet to reveal details about the storyline or cast, her statement suggests that this season will be bigger and better.
