Eshwarudu OTT Release Date: Eeswaran became one of the first Tamil films to begin shooting after the Covid-induced lockdown. Despite facing numerous restrictions, the team efficiently completed the film and successfully released it during the Pongal festival in 2021. Directed by Suseenthiran, the movie featured Silambarasan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nandita Swetha, and Bharathiraaja in significant roles.

The rural-themed film received a lukewarm response at the box office, partly due to the competition from Vijay's Master. It faced criticism for its outdated storyline and predictable execution. Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Kali Venkat, Manoj Harish Uthaman, and Stunt Siva were among the supporting cast members in the movie, which was produced by Balaji Kapa under D Company Production and Madhav Media.
