Everything To Watch On OTT This Weekend (Aug 30- Sept 1): This weekend is full of surprises for the OTT lovers as there is a lot of content available for the audience that they can enjoy from the comfort of their home. IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, starring Vijay Varma in the lead, is finally streaming online. The story of the series is based on the real-life incident when the Indian Airlines Flight 814 (IC 814) was hijacked on December 24, 1999, while flying from Kathmandu to Delhi, and was diverted to Kandahar, Afghanistan, after multiple stops.
Not only this, The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power is also streaming online. Season 2 picks up where the first season left off, with Sauron returning to Middle-earth. Exiled by Galadriel and without an army, Sauron must use his cunning to regain power and create the Rings of Power, which will allow him to control all of Middle-earth.
As darkness spreads, beloved characters face challenges and struggles, testing their friendships and allegiances. The season follows the epic battles between good and evil, as elves, dwarves, orcs, men, wizards, and Harfoots fight to hold on to what matters most - each other.
Another much-awaited series, Murshid, starring Kay Kay Menon, is all set for its release. The trailer reveals a gripping tale of Mumbai's underworld, where retired don Murshid Pathan (Kay Kay Menon) is pulled back into his old life when his son is embroiled in a dangerous scheme by his former rival Farid. As Murshid tries to shield his family and legacy, he's pursued by his adopted son, Inspector Kumar Pratap Rana, who's also being manipulated by a cunning politician.
