Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR are all set to appear onscreen for the first time in the upcoming Telugu action thriller drama Devara: Part 1. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie will showcase an action saga set against coastal lands. The protagonist will be seen as the rescuer for the deprived people and fear for the wrongdoers. The much-anticipated movie will also show a powerful ensemble of actors including Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Meka Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Murli Sharma and Ramya Krishnan in prominent roles. The second single of the film ‘Dheere Dheere’ has been gaining praise and people are eagerly waiting to watch the movie. Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR starrer is all set to hit the screen on 27th September. As the film is slated to be released next month, binge-watch these Telugu action thriller movies on OTT platforms that were released this year in the first half. 

Eagle (Prime Video) 

Karthik Gattamneni’s directorial shows a Journalist, who uncovers the story of a ruthless assassin when she starts investigating a government cover-up. The movie stars Ravi Teja, Kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaran, Madhoo, Praneetha Patnaik, Vinay Rai and Navdeep Pallapolu in prominent roles. The Telugu action thriller was released in theatres on 9th February 2024. It is currently streaming on Prime Video. 

Bhaje Vaayu Vegam (Netflix)

Helmed by Prashanth Reddy, the movie delves into the life of an aspiring cricketer who makes a big bet to pay for his father’s surgery. But when he gets cheated, he gets caught in a crime web.  It features Iswarya Menon, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Rahul Tyson, Krishna Chaitanya, Sharath Lohitashwa, Tanikella Bharani, Keshav Deepak and P Ravi Shankar in significant roles. The Telugu action thriller was released in theatres on 31st May 2024. It is currently streaming on Netflix. 

Operation Valentine (Prime Video)

Shakti Pratap Singh’s directorial showcases an IAF pilot, who embarks on a courageous journey and faces one of the deadliest aerial attacks. The project was released in Telugu and Hindi languages. It marks the Hindi debut of Varun Tej and the Telugu debut of Manushi Chhillar. The movie also stars Ruhani Sharma, Shataf Figar, Paresh Pahuja, Mir Sarwar, Navdeep Pallapolu, Vaibhav Tatwawadi and Ashwath Bhatt in key roles. The Telugu action thriller was released in theatres on 1st March 2024. It is currently streaming on Prime Video. 

Naa Saami Ranga (JioCinema, Disney Plus Hotstar)

Vijay Binni’s directorial delves into the lives of three brothers, who were brought together by chance to navigate their love lives. The movie features Ashika Ranganath, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mirna Menon, Allari Naresh, Rukshar Dhillon, Raj Tarun and Shabeer Kallarakkal in significant roles. The Telugu action thriller was released in theatres on 14th January 2024. It is currently streaming on JioCinema and Disney Plus Hotstar. 

Game On (Prime Video)

Directed by Dayanandh Gaddam, the movie shows that the best gamers enter the game world to save the real world. It stars Neha Solanki, Vasanthi Krishnan, Geetanand, Madhoo, Adithya Menon, Yogi Khatri and Subhalekha Sudhakar in prominent roles. The Telugu action thriller was released in theatres on 2nd February 2024. It is currently streaming on Prime Video.
