Face Me Plot

The story of Face Me centres on Cha Jeong U, an accomplished emergency medicine doctor whose life is shattered when his lover dies under mysterious circumstances. Devastated, Jeong U leaves his role in emergency medicine and transitions to plastic surgery, a field where his precision and knowledge quickly earn him the reputation of possessing "god's hands."

However, despite his skill, Jeong U finds it challenging to connect with his patients emotionally. Things take a dark turn when Jeong U becomes unintentionally involved in a homicide investigation led by Detective Lee Min Hyeong, who is determined to solve a puzzling case tied to one of Jeong U's patients. The unexpected involvement tarnishes Jeong U's image, especially when a patient he declined to treat leaves a suicide note holding him responsible.

In a bid to redeem his reputation, Jeong U joins a social responsibility initiative led by his hospital, offering reconstructive surgery to crime victims. As he dives deeper into this new path, he often clashes with Detective Min Hyeong due to their contrasting approaches. The two eventually find themselves working together, unveiling complex layers of the cases they encounter. Meanwhile, Jeong U’s past and the mystery surrounding his lover’s death begin to resurface, presenting a thrilling arc for viewers.
