Fardeen Khan recently shared an intriguing detail about the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's latest Netflix series, "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar." Khan, who made his comeback with this series, revealed in an interview that Bhansali had a unique way of relaxing on set – with the help of 25 dogs.
According to Khan, whenever Bhansali felt flustered, frustrated, or wasn't getting the desired results, his assistants would bring in these 25 dogs that Bhansali owns. As soon as the dogs arrived on set, Bhansali would reportedly calm down, helping to create a more relaxed atmosphere for filming.
Heeramandi, which stars Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Fardeen Khan, premiered on Netflix on May 1. In an interview with IMDB, the cast shared insights into their experiences working on the show.
During the interview, Sharmin Segal, one of the cast members, claimed to be a great chef. When Richa Chadha seemed surprised, Sharmin jokingly mentioned a salad she had made that morning. Richa teased her, saying she only chopped vegetables, but Sharmin clarified that she had also made the dressing.

Despite some reports of Bhansali being short-tempered on set, actor Shekhar Suman defended him, calling him a perfectionist. Suman explained that perfectionists often get impatient with others for not meeting their standards, leading to short-temperedness. He compared Bhansali to other legendary filmmakers like K Asif, Mehboob Khan, and Raj Kapoor, who were also known for their short tempers.
