Fighter: Karan Singh Grover has opened up about his role in the latest Bollywood release Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Despite sharing the screen with Bollywood heavyweight Hrithik Roshan, Grover expressed no concerns about being overshadowed. The aerial action thriller, which hit theatres on January 25, has been receiving rave reviews and dominating the box office. Alongside Roshan and Padukone, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover.

In an interview with PTI, Grover confidently stated, “I was not afraid of the fact… I mean Hrithik is Hrithik. He has worked hard to be what he is, and he gets attention sometimes even when he doesn’t want it."

Grover's portrayal of Squadron Leader Sartaj ‘Taj’ Gill from the Air Dragons unit has resonated with audiences, with many praising his performance. He emphasized the collaborative effort behind the film, acknowledging director Siddharth's vision in weaving together a narrative centred on love for the country and the bravery of the Air Force.

Reflecting on his role, Grover remarked, “Every actor or performer has a dream to touch people’s hearts through the characters they play, and that has happened with me." Despite its critical acclaim, Fighter faced challenges at the box office. Director Siddharth Anand acknowledged the film's ambitious leap into uncharted territory, describing it as a genre with no reference point for audiences.

Released across multiple languages, Fighter continues to soar at the box office, with recent reports indicating impressive earnings totalling Rs 187.40 crore. The film showcases Hrithik Roshan as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania and Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, alongside stellar performances from Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi.
