Fighter OTT Release Date And Platform: The box office journey of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's film ‘Fighter’ continues to be steady, drawing audiences to theaters with its compelling narrative. Even as the movie enjoys its theatrical run, it has secured a significant OTT deal, signaling its arrival on streaming platforms. 

When Will Fighter Stream On OTT?

Following the standard industry protocol, the war drama directed by Siddharth Anand is set to make its digital debut on OTT platforms precisely 56 days after its theatrical premiere. Marking its arrival on the digital streaming landscape, the film is scheduled to be available for viewing starting from March 21, a timely offering that aligns with the festive spirit leading up to Holi.

Initially slated for a theatrical premiere on September 30, 2023, 'Fighter' encountered delays in production, ultimately pushing its release date to January 25, 2024, conveniently aligning with the Republic Day weekend. While the film has garnered a mixture of reviews from critics, it has achieved remarkable commercial success, amassing a worldwide box office gross of ₹331.84 crore (US$42 million) to claim the title of the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024.

Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the movie boasts a star-studded cast including Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, marking the inauguration of an ambitious aerial action franchise. The film showcases the involvement of real-life Indian Air Force cadets in its production. Notably, it draws references from significant events like the 2019 Pulwama attack, the 2019 Balakot airstrike, and the 2019 India–Pakistan border skirmishes. 

Accompanying the film's gripping narrative is a soundtrack album comprising five songs, composed by Vishal–Shekhar. Satchith Paulose takes on the role of cinematographer, while the visual effects are masterfully crafted by DNEG.

The official synopsis of the film says, “Top IAF aviators come together in the face of imminent danger to form Air Dragons. Fighter unfolds their camaraderie, brotherhood, and battles, internal and external.”
