Fighter OTT Release Date And Platform: 'Fighter' hit the theatres on January 25, 2024. The movie received mixed reviews and has grossed Rs 336.55 crore (US$42 million) worldwide to rank as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024. Starring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan in lead roles, ‘Fighter’ has finally locked its OTT deal. Here is all you need to know about the movie’s digital debut.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the digital release of the movie ‘Fighter’ on OTT platforms. It's soon going to make its debut in the digital realm, and Netflix has secured the rights to stream it for a hefty sum.

Reportedly, Netflix acquired the OTT rights for the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer for a whopping Rs 150 crore. Although the exact release date on OTT hasn't been revealed yet, according to industry norms, a film can only premiere on streaming platforms four weeks after its theatrical release.

About Fighter

Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the movie boasts a star-studded cast including Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, marking the inauguration of an ambitious aerial action franchise. The film showcases the involvement of real-life Indian Air Force cadets in its production. Notably, it draws references from significant events like the 2019 Pulwama attack, the 2019 Balakot airstrike, and the 2019 India–Pakistan border skirmishes. Accompanying the film's gripping narrative is a soundtrack album comprising five songs, composed by Vishal–Shekhar. Satchith Paulose takes on the role of cinematographer, while the visual effects are masterfully crafted by DNEG.

The official synopsis of the film says, “Top IAF aviators come together in the face of imminent danger to form Air Dragons. Fighter unfolds their camaraderie, brotherhood, and battles, internal and external.”
