Fly Me To The Moon, the upcoming movie starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum, is all set to take audiences on a thrilling journey to the moon. The film, directed by Greg Berlanti and written by Rose Gilroy, is based on a true story and is scheduled to hit theatres on July 12, 2024.

The story revolves around the Apollo 11 Moon launch in 1968, with Scarlett Johansson portraying Kelly Jones, a marketing expert at NASA, and Channing Tatum playing the role of Cole Davis, the launch director. The trailer reveals that Jones plans to fake a Moon landing, sparking immediate conflict with Davis.

Joining Johansson and Tatum in the cast are Nick Dillenburg, Anna Garcia, Jim Rash, Colin Woodell, Noah Robbins, Christian Zuber, Donald Elise Watkins, Ray Romano, and Woody Harrelson, among others. The film promises to be a captivating blend of history, drama, and conspiracy theories, as it explores the complexities of the Apollo 11 mission.

Fly Me To The Moon was previously titled Project Artemis, with different lead actors and a different director. However, the project has undergone changes, and Johansson and Tatum have stepped in to bring this fascinating story to life. Johansson, who is also attached to the project as a producer, describes her character as a “very modern woman living in a time where women were often underestimated,” adding depth to the narrative.
