Friday OTT Releases (December 13): Friday is here and there are a slew of new movies and web series that are gearing up for their much-anticipated OTT release. From the most awaited Malayalam crime thriller movie Bougainvillea to the romantic drama series Mismatched Season 3, Manoj Bajpayee’s Despatch and more, here is what to stream on Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, JioCinema and more this weekend. 

Friday OTT Releases (December 13)

Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language psychological crime thriller directed by Amal Neerad, who co-wrote the script with Lajo Jose. The film is produced by Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures. Starring Jyothirmayi, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahadh Faasil, with Veena Nandakumar, Srinda, and Sharaf U Dheen in supporting roles, it is inspired by Lajo Jose's 2019 novel Ruthinte Lokam. Notably, the film marks Jyothirmayi's return to the cinema after an 11-year hiatus.

Bougainvillea is set for an OTT release on SonyLiv starting December 13.

Despatch

Starring Manoj Bajpayee and Shahana Goswami in lead roles, Despatch is all set for its much-awaited OTT debut. The Indian Hindi-language crime drama film has been directed by Kanu Behl. The movie has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies. Despatch had its special presentation at the International Film Festival of India and the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

Despatch is set to release on December 13, 2024, on ZEE5.

Mismatched Season 3

Netflix's popular series, Mismatched, is all set to make a comeback with its highly anticipated Season 3 on December 13. The new season is expected to captivate audiences once again with its distinctive mix of college life, friendship, and poignant romance. With Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf reprising their roles as Dimple and Rishi, fans can look forward to new twists and emotional developments that will keep them invested in the characters' journeys.

Madanolsavam

Madanolsavam is a 2023 Indian Malayalam-language satirical comedy film directed by Sudheesh Gopinath. The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Suraj Venjaramoodu, Babu Antony, Rajesh Madhavan, and Bhama Arun in leading roles. Produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the Saina Movies banner, Madanolsavam tells the captivating story of Madhanan, an ordinary individual who embarks on a transformative journey. As he navigates extraordinary circumstances, Madhanan defies the odds, challenges the status quo, and ultimately takes control of his life and destiny.

Madanolsavam will start streaming on Manorama MAX from December 13, 2024.

Paris And Nicole: The Encore

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie reunite on the 20th anniversary of "The Simple Life" and decide the best way to celebrate their iconic friendship is to go to the high arts. They announce that they are going to write, produce and star in an opera based on their famous song they created in their childhood, "Sanasa." In order to stage their opera, they visit their origin story for inspiration, before meeting with esteemed members of the fine-arts community and then tackling the daunting task of putting on a one-word opera.

Parin And Nicole: The Encore will stream on Netflix from December 13, 2024.
