Gadar 2, featuring the celebrated duo of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, finally graced the screens on August 11, 2023, amid fervent anticipation from fans. The film is poised for a remarkable box office opening, having achieved a groundbreaking advance booking milestone. Impressively, the film managed to secure the sale of 2.7 lakh tickets even before its official release. However, despite this promising trajectory, the much-hyped and long-awaited Gadar 2 has fallen victim to the scourge of piracy. This echoes a distressing trend seen with previous big-budget productions, as unauthorized websites exploit HD prints to offer the film for free download.
Allegedly, hours after the release, the high-energy Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol leaked online. The HD version is accessible for both free viewing and downloading. Gadar 2 has surfaced on numerous platforms like Tamilrockers, Telegram, Filmyzilla, Movierulz and more.

Piracy's grasp extends beyond Gadar 2. The most recent victim is the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. It follows a pattern seen earlier with Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, Ajay Devgn's Bholaa, and several other movies, all of which fell prey to online leaks before their official releases.

Based on the early audience reception, the film is garnering praise. In a head-to-head clash with Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 at the box office, it remains a matter of time to discern which movie will bear the brunt of this showdown's repercussions.
Meanwhile, Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001 action-romance 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.' Besides Sunny-Ameesha, it also stars Gaurav Chopra and Utkarsh Sharma in pivotal roles. Anil Sharma Productions and Zee Studios collaborated to produce the film.
