JE Entertainment Desk: Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol is all set to tie the knot with his long-term girlfriend Drisha Acharya and the dates have reportedly been revealed. A source close to India TV News revealed that the wedding festivities started on June 9 and the wedding ceremony will take place on 18th June. The duo got engaged on February 18, this year.

The source revealed, "The sangeet, mehendi, and haldi will take place between 15th June and 17th June, with the couple taking the saath pheras on 18th June. The Deol family have also planned a reception for the couple post the wedding, for the industry friends to attend."

In a conversation with ETimes, Dharmendra Deol opened up about how Karan introduced Drisha to his family. The veteran actor said, "I said, 'Go ahead if Karan likes her'. Then, I met Drisha. The meeting happened at my house. She is a very sensible and pretty girl. And, she comes from an illustrious family. I am very happy for Karan and Drisha. They have all my blessings. I welcome the new addition to the Deol family."

If the reports are to be believed, Drisha and Karan will exchange vows in a private ceremony before their close friends and family members. The ceremony will take place in Taj Lands End Hotel in Mumbai.

Drisha Acharya is the great-granddaughter of acclaimed filmmaker Bimal Roy. She is the granddaughter of Bimal Roy's daughter Rinki Bhattacharya, who was married to Basu Bhattacharya. Her mother is Chimoo Acharya, who is the daughter of Rinki Bhattacharya.
