Iain Glen, widely recognized for his portrayal of Jorah Mormont in Game of Thrones, has secured a significant role in Anupam Kher's upcoming film, Tanvi: The Great. This exciting collaboration marks the second time Glen and Kher have worked together, following their previous partnership in the British TV series Mrs Wilson.
Anupam Kher, who last directed Om Jai Jagadish in 2002, is returning to the director's chair with Tanvi: The Great. While the film's plot details are being kept under wraps, Kher has been actively sharing updates about the project since announcing it on his 69th birthday in March. A recent report by Pinkvilla confirms Glen's involvement, adding to the growing anticipation for the film.
Currently filming in Mumbai, Glen has already begun working closely with the cast and crew. A source close to the production revealed that Glen’s role is substantial, and his addition has only heightened the excitement surrounding the film. Kher has assembled an impressive team for this project, including Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani, Academy Award-winning sound designer Resul Pookuty, and renowned action director Sunil Rodrigues. The film also features the talents of lyricist Kausar Munir and Japanese cinematographer Keiko Nakahara.
