GOAT Box Office Collection Day 6: Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark at the box office. The movie kept its decent pace at the box office in its first week since its release. GOAT hit the silver screen on September 5, 2024. It got positive responses from both the audience and the critics. The movie also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Prashanth Thyagarajan, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Premgi Amaren and Yogi Babu in prominent roles.

Venkat Prabhu’s directorial GOAT saw a drop on the first Tuesday (September 10) as it earned Rs 10.50 crore at the box office as per Sacnilk. As per estimation, the Greatest Of All Time’s net collection now stands at Rs 162.25 crore at the ticket windows. The movie had 10.00 per cent Hindi occupancy on September 10 whereas it had 15.22 per cent in Telangana theatres. However, GOAT beat the overall net collection of 2024 blockbuster Tamil movies like Raayan and Maharaja. Dhanush's action drama had a worldwide collection of Rs 154 crore. Whereas, Vijay Sethupathi's action thriller collected Rs 104.84 rore.

The story revolves around a spy working in the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS). After his retirement, he has been handed over a critical mission that will have a dangerous collision course with his own past. In this film, Thalapathy Vijay can be seen playing dual roles (as the male protagonist and his son). Several big celebrities made a cameo in this movie such as MS Dhoni, Trisha and Sivakarthikeyan. GOAT was featured on the iconic Leicester Square in London on September 3 exactly two days ahead of its release. 


GOAT On OTT

As per reports, Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time will be released on the popular OTT platform Netflix. As quoted by OTT play, Venkat Prabhu shared in an interview that they had to cut 18 minutes long footage for its theatrical release. But, GOAT will be released on Netflix with the extended cut.
