GOAT Releases Today: Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated sci-fi action thriller has now hit theaters worldwide, debuting on over 4,000 screens. The wide release has generated significant buzz, with audiences across various locations enjoying the film. The Greatest of All Time recently made history by being showcased at the iconic Leicester Square in London on September 3, marking the first time a South Indian film has been featured on this prestigious screen, as announced by the film’s producers. The film has already garnered impressive earnings, amassing USD 1.5 million in international markets and Rs 9.80 crores from ticket sales on its opening day in India.
Starring Vijay in the lead role, GOAT officially released on September 5 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. With its record-setting release, GOAT is already making waves at the box office through strong pre-sales. The first day first show (FDFS) for GOAT started from 4 AM on September 5, with early morning screenings available in locations outside Tamil Nadu.

GOAT: Plot And Cast
In The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), Vijay takes on dual roles as M. S. Gandhi and Jeevan/Sanjay. Akhil plays childhood Jeevan, while Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Ajmal Ameer portray Gandhi's colleagues and friends Sunil, Kalyan, and Ajay, respectively. Mohan appears as Chandra Menon, and Jayaram stars as Naseer. Sneha voices Gandhi's wife and Jeevan's mother, with Laila as Sunil's wife and a doctor. Meenakshi Chaudhary, whose voice is dubbed by M. M. Manasi, plays Srinidhi, Jeevan's love interest and Sunil's daughter. Other notable cast members include Vaibhav as Sha, Yogi Babu as Diamond Babu, Panchu Subbu as Rajendran, and VTV Ganesh in dual roles as Raghavan and Abdul. Premgi Amaren plays Gandhi's brother-in-law and Jeevan's uncle, with Parvati Nair also appearing in the film.
The film is reportedly inspired by the 2004 Moscow Metro Bombing. Alongside Vijay, the cast includes Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Mohan in significant roles. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie promises a gripping narrative.
