Punjabi singer-turned-actor Guru Randhawa recently suffered an injury while performing a stunt on the sets of his upcoming film Shaunki Sardar. The artist, known for his hit songs like Naach Meri Rani and Dance Meri Rani, took to social media to share a picture from the hospital, where he was seen wearing a cervical collar. Despite the injury, he assured fans that his spirit remains unbroken.

Randhawa, who is making his mark in the acting world, attempted his first action stunt for Shaunki Sardar but unfortunately ended up injuring his neck. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Sharing an update from his hospital bed, he wrote,

"My first stunt, my first injury, but my spirit remains unbroken. A memory from the sets of Shaunki Sardar movie. Bahut mushkil kaam hai action waala, but will work hard for my audience." As soon as the news broke, fans flooded his comment section with well-wishes. Many expressed concern and advised him to take care of himself, while others appreciated his dedication to his craft. One fan wrote, “Take care! We love your music, no need to take risks like this.”

Several celebrities also reacted to his post. Actress Mrunal Thakur commented, “Whatttt," expressing her shock. Veteran actor Anupam Kher offered words of encouragement, writing, “You are the bestest. Get well soon.” Mika Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Dino Morea also sent their best wishes.

Shaunki Sardar stars Guru Randhawa alongside actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and is expected to be a heartfelt tale of love, loyalty and cultural pride. The film is directed by Dheeraj Rattan and is slated for release on May 16, 2025. Notably, it is produced under Guru Randhawa’s own production banner.

Before his on-set accident, Guru Randhawa had shared his experience of taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. Posting a collage video from the sacred site, he wrote, "Blessed to take a sacred dip in Maa Ganga at Prayagraj, where faith flows and spirituality thrives. Starting my new journey with God’s blessing. Har har Gange!" His post hinted at an upcoming project, though details remain under wraps.
