Gurucharan Singh Missing: Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah Actor Was Unwell For Days, Kidnapping Case Filed

Gurucharan Singh Missing: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fans were left in shock upon hearing reports of Gurucharan Singh's disappearance. Known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi, he had departed from the sitcom in 2020. Following a complaint from Gurucharan Singh's father, the Delhi police has initiated a kidnapping case. His close friend has disclosed that the actor had been unwell for several days and had undergone tests.

Kidnapping Case Filed

According to Singh's father's complaint, his son embarked on a journey from Delhi to Mumbai on Monday but failed to arrive at his destination. The actor, who had been visiting his parents in Delhi, was scheduled to return to Mumbai but has not been in contact since April 22.

According to ANI, Vansh Dhariwal, the landlord of Gurucharan's parents, expressed, "I found out myself in the evening; I don't have much information about all this. His parents live upstairs, and he frequently comes to meet them. He came to meet this time as well."

Gurucharan was unwell for days

Gurucharan's friend told PinkVilla, "His parents are worried and have filed a missing report in Delhi. I tried to file one in Mumbai as well, however, since he hasn’t returned back a complaint cannot be filed here. Gurucharan ji’s health also hasn’t been keeping well for the last many days, so I am worried about that. Before leaving for Delhi, his blood pressure was high and he had undergone a few tests as well. He wasn’t even eating much before he left for Delhi. I really hope and pray that he is fine, and returns back safe and sound."

Meanwhile, as per the complaint, Gurucharan, aged 50, set out on his journey from Delhi but did not reach his intended destination or return home. His phone has remained unreachable, further adding to his family's distress. Delhi Police officials have assured their dedication to investigating the matter after receiving the complaint. Gurucharan's father emphasised that his son is mentally stable, expressing worries about his sudden disappearance.
