On its fifth day, Guruvayoorambala Nadayil earned approximately Rs 3.10 crore net in India, bringing its total earnings to around Rs 22 crore. The film had an overall Malayalam occupancy of 32.38% on Monday, May 20, 2024. The occupancy rates varied throughout the day, with morning shows at 19.33%, afternoon shows at 26.88%, evening shows at 41.14%, and night shows at 42.16%. On its first Sunday, it earned a net collection of Rs 6.30 crore in India, according to a report by Sacnilk.

The film, which premiered on May 16, 2024, has a total runtime of 2 hours and 40 minutes. Presented in Malayalam, it has been awarded a U/A censor certificate. The production budget is reportedly Rs 90 crores.

In the film, Prithviraj plays Anand, whose sister Anjali, portrayed by Anaswara Rajan, is set to marry Kaitholapparambil Vinu Ramachandran, played by Basil Joseph. However, Vinu faces unexpected challenges and ends up marrying someone else at the Guruvayoor temple, propelling the storyline forward. Written by Deepu Pradeep, the script skillfully blends humour and emotion. Nikhila Vimal and Anaswara Rajan deliver standout performances in key roles, adding depth and appeal to the narrative.
