South Korean actors Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol have been removed from the cast of the upcoming movie adaptation of the popular webtoon, Delusion, following their recent breakup. The news of their split came just two weeks after they went public with their relationship, creating a wave of controversy in the media and among fans.

The production company Showbox officially confirmed that both actors are no longer in consideration for their new project. In a statement, Showbox stated, "It is true that Han SoHee and Ryu Jun Yeol were in discussions to appear in the film. However, we have ended those discussions because their appearances were not confirmed."

Ryu Jun Yeol's agency, C-JeS Studio, also confirmed his departure from the project, stating, "Ryu Joon-Yeol feels responsible for what happened recently and agreed to end the negotiations as he does not want the work to feel any repercussions after what happened."

The breakup between Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol was confirmed on March 30, just two weeks after they announced their relationship. The news was met with surprise and disappointment from fans, who had supported the couple since they went public.

The relationship between Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol garnered significant attention, especially after Han So Hee's candid blog post about the beginning of their romance. However, speculation about their relationship began when Ryu Jun Yeol's ex-girlfriend, Hyeri, posted a cryptic Instagram Story with the caption "Funny," leading many to believe it was directed at the new couple.

Han So Hee later responded to Hyeri's post in a now-deleted Instagram post, expressing her confusion over the situation and apologizing for any misunderstandings. Despite the breakup, both actors are expected to focus on their respective careers, with Han So Hee currently starring in the drama 'My Name' and Ryu Jun Yeol preparing for his upcoming projects.
