Prithviraj Sukumaran impressed the audience worldwide with his performance in Malayalam blockbuster Aadujeevitham- The Goat Life. The movie has been written and directed by Blessy and has been doing great at the box office. Aadujeevitham has become the talk of town, especially its nude scene featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran. However, now a shocking detail about the shooting of nude scenes has come to light.

Prithviraj Sukumaran Drank Vodka Before Shooting Nude Scene

Cinematographer Sunil KS shared an interesting behind-the-scenes tidbit about the actor's dedication to a particular scene. Not only did Sukumaran undergo a three-day fast to achieve a lean appearance, but he also took a shot of Vodka to help drain excess water from his body. Sunil said, “For the naked scene, Prithviraj was fasting for three days, not even water on the last day; before the shoot, he took 30 ML Vodka to drain remaining water from the body. He was carried in a chair to the location. We needed to lift him from the chair before the shot.”

Prithviraj also talked about his transformation with News 18. He said, “I personally never thought that this was possible. [The most grilling part about it was] the hunger. Because it didn’t involve dieting. It involved me not eating. My transformation was majorly based on fasting. There were times when I was on a 3-day fast.”

'Aadujeevitham' is a movie based on the popular Malayalam novel of the same name, written by Benyamin in 2008. The novel tells the true story of Najeeb, a Malayali migrant worker who, like many others, was forced into slavery as a goatherd in the deserts of Saudi Arabia by native Arabs. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and K. R. Gokul in the main roles, supported by Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul, and Shobha Mohan in other important roles.

The film's synopsis read, "Najeeb Muhammed, an Indian migrant worker, travels to Saudi Arabia with hopes of earning money to support his family back home. However, he soon discovers that his reality is far from what he expected, as he finds himself trapped in a harsh and oppressive situation, forced to work as a goat herder in the vast desert."
