HanuMan Box Office Collection Day 1: Teja Sajja's much-anticipated film, 'HanuMan,' directed by Prasanth Varma hit theaters on January 12 amid high expectations and significant attention. Despite facing competition from Mahesh Babu's Trivikram Guntur Kaaram, the movie has been well-received, generating widespread approval from viewers. Audience are praising the thrilling climax and impressive VFX effects in 'HanuMan.' Teja Sajja's performance is also earning high accolades. With such a positive response, the film had a strong opening day at the box office, outperforming Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer 'Merry Christmas.'

Starring Teja Sajja, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer, and Vinay Rai, "HanuMan" marks the commencement of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). As per film industry tracker Sacnilk, 'HanuMan' achieved a noteworthy net collection of Rs 11.91 crore in India on its release day. 'HanuMan' had an overall 74.35 per cent Telugu Occupancy on Friday, January 12, 2024.
About HanuMan
Hanumanthu (Teja), a small-time thief, enjoys a quiet life with his sister Anjamma (Varalaxmi) in the fictional village of Anjanadri. The village is depicted as seemingly isolated and underdeveloped, surrounded by nature and featuring a prominent statue of Hanuman. Hanumanthu's life takes a turn when he discovers a totem that enhances his abilities, grabbing the attention of Michael (Vijay) and his friend Siri (Vennela Kishore).
As a chain of events unfolds, both Anjanadri and the wider world face imminent danger. In response, Hanumanthu must rise to the occasion, confront the challenges, and take on the responsibility of protecting his surroundings. The narrative of "HanuMan" centers around Hanumanthu's journey to safeguard his village and address the threats that arise due to the newfound powers and the unfolding events.
Produced by Niranjan Reddy Kandagatla, the movie released in Telugu, along with the dubbed versions of Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese.
