Hera Pheri 3 Update: The iconic Bollywood trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty are set to reunite for the much-awaited next instalment of the cult classic Hera Pheri 3. Fans have been eagerly waiting for part three of the movie and Akshay Kumar has now shared a major update. He revealed that the shooting might begin this year.

Akshay Kumar, who is currently promoting his upcoming film Sky Force, spoke about the buzz surrounding Hera Pheri 3 in an interview with Pinkvilla. He said, “Even I am waiting to start Hera Pheri 3. I don’t know, but if everything goes well, it will start this year.” Overwhelmed by the response the original film received, he added, "“When we started Hera Pheri, we didn’t know it would go ahead to become such a cult. Even when I saw the film, I didn’t understand. Yes, it was funny, but none of us expected the characters of Babu Bhaiya, Raju, and Shyam to become a cult.”

Akshay, who will once again share the screen with Paresh Rawal in Bhooth Bangla, praised his co-star. He said, "We were just shooting for Bhooth Bangla in Jaipur, and I had lots of fun with him. During Hera Pheri, we had a lot of fun, but there are some things which can’t be said on camera."

About Hera Pheri Franchise

Directed by Priyadarshan, the original Hera Pheri film released in 2000. It starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, and Tabu in lead roles. The film became a massive hit at the box office, loved for its comedic timing and memorable performances. Following its success, the second installment came out in 2006, directed by the late Neeraj Vora. It featured the original cast along with Bipasha Basu, Rajpal Yadav, and Rimi Sen. The cult classic revolves around three individuals caught up in a money-making scheme, leading to many twists and turns filled with humor. Fans are now eagerly awaiting Hera Pheri 3.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is preparing for the release of his upcoming film Sky Force, which is set to hit theaters on January 24. The movie also stars Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur in key roles.
