Hijacking OTT Release: Yeo Jin Goo and Ha Jung Woo’s latest crime thriller Korean movie, Hijacking also known as Hijack 1971, is heading for an OTT release. The film, which hit theatres earlier this year in June, has now been confirmed to be available for streaming soon.

The story, set in the 1970s, focuses on a plane hijacking incident. Ha Jung Woo plays the role of the pilot, a former Air Force officer trying to navigate the chaos on board. Yeo Jin Goo stars as a passenger caught up in the terrifying ordeal. Alongside them, Sung Dong Il and Chae Soo Bin also feature in significant roles.

Hijacking is written by Kim Kyoung Chan, known for his work on successful films like Hit-and-Run Squad and 1987: When the Day Comes. The movie is directed by Kim Sung Han, who has worked on Ashfall and Asura. The combination of gripping performances and an intense storyline has made this film highly anticipated for its OTT release.

Ha Jung Woo, a seasoned actor, made his acting debut in 2003 and has since starred in numerous hit films such as The Handmaiden, The Chaser, Tunnel and Along With the Gods. Meanwhile, Yeo Jin Goo, who started his acting career as a child in 2005, has gained recognition for his roles in dramas like Beyond Evil,  Link: Eat, Love, Kill and Hotel Del Luna.
