'Horimiya' one of the most anticipated anime series which is based on the manga by HERO and Daisuke Hagiwara is making a dotting comeback with Season 2. The new upcoming season is titled, 'Horimiya: the Missing Pieces' which aims to fill the gaps left by the first season from the adapting moments from the manga which did not make it to the big screens eventually.
The new trailer today was unveiled by the makers with a fresh release date set where one can dig diver into the central romance of the characters. While the first season of 'Horimiya' spoke a complete story, still there were many moments from the manga which were left out.
'Horimiya: The Missing Pieces' thus seeks to fill the central romance with a different angle this time and has adapted the skipped moments as well with a promising chance to allow one to witness pure love. The staff and cast of the series will also be making a return.
The new trailer showcases the snippets of the coming episodes where the opening theme of the series is played and performed by Ami Sakaguchi and the ending theme 'Shiawase' is performed by Omoinotake. These songs do set the tone of what's in the bank for the fans of the series.
Fans are eager to catch the upcoming new season where the first season consisting of 13 episodes is available on Crunchyroll. The platform has also confirmed that the series will be debuting in Japan on July 1 and will be a part of the exciting Summer 2023 anime schedule.
Talking about the series, 'Horimiya' is a light-hearted romantic comedy that revolves around the lives of two high school students, Hori and Miyamura. As Hori has a perfect social image in the school, Miyamura hides his gentle heart behind a sting of tattoos and piercings. Happen to have paths intersect which reveal their secrets and to each other, the newfound connections come with mere complications as well.
Fans of 'Horimiya' are also excited as the new season will have a completely different perspective with new episodes setting to fill the gaps which are left by the first season and will focus more on the central romance of the leads from July 1.
