Diwali 2025 Timing: Diwali Lakshmi Puja 2025: The celebration of light over darkness is around the corner as Diwali will be celebrated tomorrow, on October 20. The Hindu community celebrates the occasion to mark the victory of good over evil, as Lord Ram was also welcomed with diyas when he returned from exile after 14 years.

The celebration is marked with the sacred Lakshmi Puja and prayers to Lord Ganesha. These religious rituals have great significance during the celebration, but there is a specific time to perform puja when observing the Diwali festival.

There is confusion about whether Diwali is on Monday or Tuesday. The confusion arises from the interplay between the lunar and solar calendars. Diwali is celebrated on the new moon, also known as Amavasya. The new moon will start from 3:44 PM on October 20 and will last till 5:54 PM on October 21.

According to Drik Panchang, Lakshmi Puja in 2025 will be observed on Monday, October 20.
