Housefull, the comedy-drama film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, features a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, and Jiah Khan. The supporting cast includes Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Randhir Kapoor, Lillete Dubey, and Malaika Arora, with Jacqueline Fernandez making a special appearance in an item number. Now, a fifth installment, Housefull 5, is scheduled for release on June 6, 2025. Amid this, producer Nadiadwala announces that Sanjay Dutt will be joining the upcoming film.

With Sanjay Dutt joining the cast, known for his stellar comedic timing, fans can look forward to even more laughter and entertainment. Filming is set to begin in the UK in August 2024. The production house announced, "#NGEFamily is thrilled to announce @duttsanjay is joining the #Housefull5 family! ♥️ Looking forward to another exciting journey filled with madness #SajidNadiadwala’s #Housefull5, Directed by @Tarunmansukhani @akshaykumar @Riteishd @juniorbachchan @WardaNadiadwala."

Talking about the same, Sajid shared, "Sanjay Dutt has been like my family from the beginning of my journey. Beyond his iconic status as one of the greatest superstars of all time, he exemplifies qualities that make him one of the finest human beings I’ve had the honour to collaborate with earlier and now with Housefull 5, we embark on another exhilarating adventure together, celebrating laughter, love, and the timeless joy of cinema."

On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt expressed, "I’ve known Sajid since his early days as an assistant, and it’s been amazing to see him grow and be one of the finest producers our industry has. Sajid is like family to me, and our friendship has only gotten stronger over the years. I’m thrilled to be working with him again on Housefull 5 and also look forward to many more collaborations with him in the years to come!"

Housefull 5 is scheduled for release on June 6, 2025. The journey began in 2010 with the release of the first Housefull movie, starring Akshay Kumar alongside Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, and Chunky Panday. The sequel followed in 2012, while Housefull 3 and Housefull 4 were released in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
