Indian 2 Box Office Collection Day 11: Kamal Haasan's movie hit theaters on July 12 but fell short of fan expectations. After completing its first week, the film struggled to hold onto screens as it faced displacement by other releases in many areas. Directed by Shankar, Indian 2 achieved the highest opening for a Tamil film this year, grossing more than Rs 25 crore nett on its first day. This sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian features Kamal Haasan returning as Senapathy, a vigilante fighting against corruption.

Indian 2 has seen modest performance in its first 10 days at the box office, amassing an estimated Rs 75.65 crore net across India. On its 11th day, the film added around Rs 1.16 crore to its total earnings, bringing it to approximately Rs 76.81 crore, as reported by Sacnilk. On Monday, July 22, 2024, the film recorded an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 14.98%. Morning shows had a 12.44% attendance, afternoon shows saw 16.53%, evening shows maintained 13.47%, and night shows peaked at 17.48%.
Starring Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, SJ Suryah, and Bobby Simha in key roles, the film made a strong entry in the Tamil and Telugu markets, with more modest results in Hindi. Despite facing competition from Akshay Kumar's Sarfira, Indian 2 showed robust performance, especially during its first three days, solidifying its status as a major success at the box office.
