India’s Got Latent Controversy: Urfi Javed Supports Ranveer Allahbadia And Samay Raina; Says ‘They Don’t Deserve To Go To Jail’

India’s Got Latent Controversy: Ranveer Allahbadia found himself in a massive controversy after he made a dark joke about ‘parents’ in Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent. The popular content creator got trolled and received backlash for his indecent comment. Following this, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis condemned the remark and also demanded strict action against them. The Guwahati police also registered an FIR under multiple sections of (BNS) against the panel of the show including Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija. Amidst all these, Urfi Javed came in support of Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. 

Javed in a long post on Instagram mentioned that Samay is her friend and she will be always there for him. The star earlier appeared in India’s Got Latent which then also made headlines for several reasons including her walking out of the show when asked about her body count. Coming back to her post, she stated that nobody on the panel deserves to go to jail even they made some distasteful comments. 

Urfi took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “You don't like certain people; you don't like the things that they do or say, but demanding for them to go to jail for that? Are you serious? Ummmm! I don't know. Samay is a friend; I have his back, but even the rest of the people on the panel, what they said was distasteful, yes, but I don't think they deserve to go to jail for that.”
