Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare Udaipur Wedding: In a celebration that radiated joy and tradition, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare embarked on their mehendi ceremony, setting the stage for a blissful union. Groom Nupur Shikhare took to Instagram stories to share glimpses of the heartfelt moments and the enchanting decor that adorned the wedding venue.
The festivities began in Mumbai, where the couple had a registered wedding, followed by a fitness-focused kickoff to the celebrations in Udaipur. However, it was the mehendi ceremony that captured the essence of cultural richness, as seen in the pictures and videos shared on January 8.
Nupur Shikhare's Instagram Stories painted a vivid picture of the mehendi rituals, featuring a radiant Ira Khan with an intricately designed mehendi extending gracefully up to her arms. Dressed in a mesmerizing white-ivory lehenga, Ira exuded grace, complemented by light golden and pearl jewellery. On the other hand, Nupur opted for a shirt and trousers ensemble paired with a contrasting waistcoat, perfectly aligning with the festive spirit.

The mehendi ceremony, held against the backdrop of the sun-kissed Taj Lake Palace, showcased a blend of tradition and contemporary celebration. Nupur shared delightful moments, including images of the floral decor, ivory umbrellas, and recreational elements that added to the joyous ambience. A captivating video featuring a juggler skillfully manipulating balls added an extra touch of entertainment to the festivities.

Notable glimpses from the ceremony included Nupur posing with Ira during her mehendi application and a delightful interaction with Ira's actor-cousin, Zayn Marie Khan, who looked stunning in a printed jumpsuit. Leading up to the mehendi, Ira Khan teased fans with a playful video on her Instagram Stories, where she humorously wielded a walkie-talkie while joking about spying on the logistics team chitchatting during preparations.
The wedding celebrations in Udaipur have brought together the extended Khan family, including Ira's older brother Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan's second ex-wife Kiran Rao, and their son Azad Rao Khan, along with Ira's cousin Zayn Marie Khan and actor Mithila Palkar.

As per the wedding itinerary, the mehendi ceremony will be followed by Hi Tea around sunset, followed by dinner and a pyjama party. The Sangeet is scheduled for Tuesday, leading up to the vows on Wednesday. The couple initially exchanged vows in Mumbai in the presence of a registrar on January 3, followed by a reception.
