Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express: Good news for passengers, as bookings for the Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express finally opened on Thursday. The announcement was officially made by Western Railway’s Mumbai Central division, stating that it will be operational six days a week, except on Tuesdays.
The Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express is a direct semi-high-speed train which will link South Gujarat and Rajasthan starting October 1.

Passengers can start booking their seats at Passenger Reservation System counters and on the IRCTC website. According to Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek, the latest Vande Bharat train will improve connectivity between South Gujarat and Rajasthan and offer a faster option for business and leisure travelers.
Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express: check schedule
The Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express will operate every day except Tuesday. The return service, the Udaipur-Surat service (26904), will begin on October 3, while the Surat-Udaipur train (26903) starts from Surat on October 4. Passengers can now book their train tickets for the Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat train.
The Surat-Udaipur train number 26903 will leave Surat at 6:10 AM and reach Udaipur at 1:40 PM the same day. Similarly, the Udaipur-Surat train number 26904 will depart from Udaipur at 3:35 PM and arrive in Surat at 11:00 PM. Each run takes roughly seven and a half hours, covering around 690 km. Passengers leaving Surat can be in Udaipur by early afternoon, while those returning are back by late night.
Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express: check stations
The Surat-Udaipur Vande Bharat Express will halt at 9 stations in both directions: Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Maninagar, Asarva (Ahmedabad), Himmatnagar, Shamlaji Road, Dungarpur, and Zawar. Ahmedabad-bound commuters can board at Maninagar or Asarva, while Vadodara and Anand passengers get a direct link toward Rajasthan.
The high-speed train will have Executive Chair Car and AC Chair Car coaches. Fares were not part of the announcement, but they will be displayed at the time of booking on the IRCTC website or at PRS counters.
Those planning travel from the first weekend should check seat availability on IRCTC or at the nearest reservation counter.
