Iraivan OTT Release: ‘Iraivan’, starring Jayam Ravi and an ensemble cast, is all set for its debut on an online streaming platform. The movie revolves around a city gripped by fear due to the presence of a deranged killer, and as a result, trust in the police force begins to erode. Despite the efforts of Arjun and Andrew, who eventually manage to apprehend the murderer, a twist of events leads to the killer's escape, plunging the city back into chaos and uncertainty.
When ‘Iraivan’ hit the screens on September 28, 2023, it garnered a variety of opinions from film critics. While Jayam Ravi's acting skills, the captivating background score, and thrilling action sequences were celebrated, the film faced its share of criticism. Some reviewers found fault with the screenplay, expressing disappointment in the soundtrack, and also commented on the excessive violence and the way romantic scenes were portrayed. It appears that the movie stirred both appreciation and reservations, reflecting a diverse range of reactions from the audience and the film industry.

Iraivan will be available on Netflix from October 26, that is, coming Thursday. Netflix announced the same on its Instagram handle and wrote, “@nayanthara and @jayamravi_official are back together on screen and we couldn't be more excited! #Iraivan streams on 26th October in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada & Hindi on Netflix!”

The movie was both written and directed by I. Ahmed. The music was created by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Hari K. Vedantam looked after the camera work, while J. V. Manikanda Balaji took care of the editing.
