Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey are all set to comeback with Hasseen Dillruba’s sequel Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. The actress recently opened up about the third instalment of the movie.  She jokingly shared that she hopes the films get several sequels and stated that she would give the book Malice to writer Kanika Dhillon for part three of Haseen Dillruba. She further talked about her equation with the film’s writer and highlighted her way of writing a protagonist’s character. While praising her writing style, Taapsee shared that they understand very well as an actor and writer duo.

In an interview with News18, when Taapsee was asked if the third part of Haseen Dillruba would be coming soon, she replied “I’m not much of a reader like Vikrant and Sunny but I’ll give the book Malice to Kanika for a part three of Haseen Dillruba. Hopefully, Hasseen Dillruba baar baar aati rahegi and kabhi jaaye hi na (laughs). You’ll see a lot of collaborations between me and Kanika in the future as well. Now we’re thinking of so many things that we can do together.”

Talking about writer Kanika Dhillon, she continued “I realised that Kanika can make me do anything. The next thing she made me do was Haseen Dillruba, which became a franchise very close to my heart. She writes my kind of relatable women so well. These are the women who’ll make mistakes but will own up to them and will be honest about the fact that they did something wrong.”

“Their mistakes are never hidden under the garb of heroism. These characters will never say, ‘Arrey, main toh aisi hi hoon’. There’s something very beautiful about Kanika’s protagonists being grey and vulnerable. She has a very unique style of writing. We understand each other very well as a writer-actor duo,” she added.

Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba also stars Sunny Kaushal, Vikrant Massey, Jimmy Shergill, Vivek Jha and Aditya Srivastava in prominent roles. The movie is all set to be released on Netflix on 9th August.
