Kangana Ranaut, who began her acting career in 2006 with the film Gangster, quickly established herself as one of the leading actresses in the industry with a series of successful films, including Fashion (2008), Queen (2013), and Tanu Weds Manu (2011). Known for her versatile acting skills, she has received multiple awards, including several National Film Awards for Best Actress. In addition to her film career, Kangana Ranaut has ventured into politics. Her foray into politics has been marked by her outspoken nature and commitment to addressing issues in her constituency.

It seems, the actress is currently juggling her role as a Member of Parliament for the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh alongside her flourishing film career. Managing these dual responsibilities has proven to be quite challenging. In an interview with Variety, Kangana discussed the struggles she faces in balancing both and said, "Being a parliamentarian is a very demanding job... Especially in my constituency, we’ve had floods, so I am all over the place. I have to go to Himachal and see to it that things are being taken care of."

The recent floods have exacerbated Kangana Ranaut's already hectic schedule, making it even more challenging for her to balance her responsibilities as a parliamentarian with her film commitments. She has acknowledged that her political career is affecting her acting work, revealing, "My film work is suffering. My projects are waiting. I’m not able to start my shoots." Due to parliamentary sessions dictating her availability, Kangana is now waiting for specific details, like the winter session schedule, to better coordinate her filming dates.

Further, she added, "I’m very open, and whatever needs me more and engages me more as a person, eventually I’ll take that route... But right now, it’s just way too much happening in my life."
