IU and Lee Jong Suk, often hailed as one of South Korea’s beloved celebrity couples, have been at the centre of breakup rumours over the past few months. However, recent fan reports suggest otherwise, with eagle-eyed attendees claiming they spotted the Kdrama star supporting IU at her concert.
The rumours began circulating last month when a viral online post claimed that the couple had parted ways, leading to widespread speculation. Fans noticed that both stars had been keeping a low profile, fueling further gossip. However, any doubts about the couple's relationship may have been put to rest during IU’s “2024 IU HEREH World Tour Concert Encore: The Winning” series at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Saturday, September 21.
A man wearing a black bucket hat and mask was seen in several fan videos from the concert. Fans quickly speculated that this mystery attendee was none other than Lee Jong Suk, who has previously been spotted at IU's concerts. The actor, known for his role in Pinocchio, was reportedly seen enjoying the show alongside a familiar member of his team, further supporting fans' claims that the K-drama heartthrob was indeed present.

Many fans took to social media to express their excitement, with one fan tweeting, “Streets are saying it’s Lee Jong Suk,” hinting that the couple's relationship remains intact. Lee Jong Suk’s consistent presence at IU’s concerts has earned him the title of a “supportive boyfriend” among fans. This public appearance seems to have quieted rumours of a breakup, as the couple continues to keep their relationship relatively private.
