BTS V aka Kim Taehyung, known for his close friendship with IU, took a break from his military duties to attend her encore concert in Seoul. IU, who wrapped up her first world tour with a grand finale at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, had her bestie V cheering her on from the crowd. Despite his busy schedule, V made sure to be present for IU’s final show of the IU HEREH World Tour on September 22, 2024. Keeping things low-key yet stylish, V opted for a casual look, donning a blue hoodie over a white t-shirt paired with black pants and boots.

BTS V aka Kim Taehyung took to Instagram and shared photos from the concert venue as he enjoyed IU's 100th performance with Jhope and even congratulated her for the same.

As soon as he entered the concert venue, fans quickly spotted the BTS singer, excited to see him show support for his close friend. V's appearance at the event was no surprise to those following him closely, as he had dropped a subtle hint earlier in the day by sharing an unseen picture from the set of the Love Wins All music video, a project he starred in alongside IU.

Fans were thrilled to think that Kim Taehyung would get to witness the 'Happy-ending' version of their collab song 'Love Wins All' at the concert. The song was released in January 2024.

Before his enlistment, V made his solo debut with the album Layover, which was released in September 2023. The album featured six songs, including the lead single Slow Dancing. V also collaborated with UMI for a track and released the solo single FRI(END)S. During his military break, V also attended the musical Chicago alongside his friend Park Hyo-Shin, continuing to show that even while fulfilling his duties, he makes time for his personal passions and friendships.

On the other hand, IU is having a busy year herself. In February 2024, she made a comeback with her sixth mini-album The Winning. She is currently involved in screenwriter Lim Sang-choon’s drama When Life Gives You Tangerines, where she stars alongside actor Park Bo-gum.
